14-Year-Old Charged With Felony For False Police Report: Cops
Three schools were put on lockdown in response to a phony report.

OSWEGO, IL — An arrest has been made in connection to a phony report of shots being fired at the 500 block of Secretariat Lane Monday. Three Oswego schools were put on lockdown while police used their resources to investigate. A 14-year-old Oswego boy was allegedly responsible, and he has been charged with disorderly conduct, a class four felony.
He was taken to the Oswego Police Department, but released to his parents, and is now awaiting a future court date in juvenile court. The Kendall County State's Attorney's Office has secured the charge.
The following schools were ordered to lock their doors Monday: Plank Junior High School, Churchill Elementary school and Brokaw Early Learning Center.
