74 Oswego Runners Compete in Chicago Marathon
74 people from Oswego ran in the Chicago Marathon Sunday. Oswego's best finisher was 2,779 overall.
Just over 39,000 runners from every U.S. state and more than 120 countries participated in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Sunday.
Kenyan runner Dennis Kimetto had the overall top finish in the marathon at 2:03:45, breaking the record set by last year's by Ethiopia's Tsegaye Kebede at 2:04:38.
According to the unofficial results, there were 74 registered runners from Oswego. Oswego's top finisher, Nicholas Dunn, took 2,779th place overall with a time of 3:21:32.
