77-Year-Old Oswego Woman Taken To Hospital After Crashing Into 3 Cars: Police

The driver she allegedly rear ended was not injured, according to police

Joyce D. Hoffman, a 77-year old Oswego woman, was taken to the hospital after she allegedly hit three cars on Tuesday, according to an Oswego police report. According to police, Hoffman was driving an SUV at 11:41 a.m. when she rear ended a sedan at the intersection of South Orchard Road and Lewis Street. Her car then left the road, struck a sign and a phone utility box before hitting two parked cars and a small tree, the report said. Hoffman was taken to the hospital after the crash. The driver she allegedly rear ended was not injured, according to police. She was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
