Batavia Woman Charged With Felony Theft At Oswego Target

Lindsey Dawn McDowell, 35, is accused of trying to steal more than $400 worth of merchandise and assaulting a police officer.

OSWEGO, IL — Police in Oswego say 35-year-old Lindsey Dawn McDowell, of Batavia, Illinois, was charged with felony theft and aggravated battery of a police officer after she attempted to leave a local Target department store Monday morning with more than $400 worth of merchandise without paying.

McDowell was booked by the Oswego Police Department and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville. Information about bail was not available.
