Celebrate Differences 2017 Calendars Now Available

You can purchase them online or at the organization.

Update: Due to a printing error, the calendars will not be available until Friday, Dec. 9.

OSWEGO, IL — Celebrate Differences has begun selling its 2017 calendars.

This is Celebrate Differences sixth year of selling calendars. Last year they didn’t produce one because of feedback from people saying they have a calendar on their phones and don’t need a physical one, according to Founder and President of Celebrate Differences Rebecca Christiansen.

“And then when we didn’t do the calendar we had so many people coming to us saying, ‘Where’s the calendar,’ so we started doing it again.

Around 1,000 copies of the 2017 calendar have been produced and Christiansen expects them to go pretty fast. On average, the calendars will raise about $7,000.

“What’s really cool about the calendars is that parents and teachers use them as a teaching tool,” she said. “To teach about differences and acceptance."

The money raised will go into a general fund for the organization.

Those interested in purchasing a calendar can visit Celebrate Differences and choose the person you want to buy from, who are all featured in the calendar. All calendars are the same and are $10. You can also purchase them in person at Celebrate Differences, located at 5375 US Route 34, Suite 4 in Oswego.
