Kijana Caldwell named to the spring 2021 dean's list at University of Findlay
Kijana Caldwell, of Oswego, 60543, was named to the spring 2021 dean's list at the University of Findlay. To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Oswego student named to spring dean's list at Nebraska

Grace Pagone of Oswego has been named to the Deans' List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year.
Pagone, a junior majoring in journalism, was named to the Dean's List for the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
More than 6,800 students at Nebraska were named to the Deans' List for the spring semester.
Qualification for the Deans' List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. Listed below are the minimum requirements for each entity and the name of its respective dean or director. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum number of graded semester hours. Students can be on the Deans' List for more than one college.
- College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, 3.75; Dean Tiffany Heng-Moss.
- College of Architecture, 3.75; Dean Katherine S. Ankerson.
- College of Arts and Sciences, 3.7; Dean Mark E. Button.
- College of Business, 3.6; Dean Kathy Farrell.
- College of Education and Human Sciences, 3.75; Dean Sherri Jones.
- College of Engineering, 3.5; Dean Lance C. Perez.
- College of Journalism and Mass Communications, 3.7; Dean Shari Veil.
- Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, 3.7; Dean Charles O'Connor.

Local students graduate from Bradley University
Bradley University congratulates the 1,000-plus students who earned degrees in May. Local students include:

Molly Dobberstein offered APSU Advancement Scholarship, Provost Out-of-State Scholarship
Austin Peay State University congratulates Molly Dobberstein of Oswego, IL, on being offered the Advancement Scholarship and the Provost Out-of-State Scholarship for high-achieving freshmen for the Fall 2021 semester.
The Advancement Scholarships are for freshman students who have a 3.5 - 3.69 GPA.
Their hard work and commitment to academic excellence have paid off, and APSU is excited they chose to "Be A Gov" for their higher education.
Out-of-state students meeting the criteria of a 3.5 GPA qualify for a Provost Out-of-State Scholarship.
Anyone interested in earning a college degree without being overwhelmed with student debt needs to give Austin Peay State University a fresh look. The University, which U.S. News and World Report recently named one of the top 25 regional public schools in the South, prides itself on graduating 41% of its students with no debt.
And in 2018, the University implemented a 43.5 percent out-of-state tuition reduction as a way of improving diversity at the regional university. In many cases, Austin Peay's tuition rates are now below what universities in other states offer their own residents.

Abigail Walker named to Dean's List at Manchester University
At the end of each semester, the Office of Academic Affairs publishes the Dean's List.
Abigail Walker of Oswego (60543) was named to the Manchester University spring 2021 Dean's List.
Walker was among 338 students named to the spring 2021 Dean's List. Walker is majoring in sport management and business management.
Students earning a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher who have completed at least 12 semester hours with no more than three hours of Pass/Not Pass grades are included on the Dean's List. Students with more than one hour of Incomplete (I) or Not Recorded (NR) grades at the end of the semester are not eligible for the Dean's List.
