Culver's Raising Money For 4th Grade Teacher With Leukemia
Culver's will donate 10 percent of its sales on Dec. 19 to Julie Wilson, who is currently undergoing treatment.

OSWEGO, IL — Community Unit School District 308 is partnering with Culver's restaurant in Oswego to raise money for Julie Wilson, a Homestead Elementary fourth-grade teacher who is battling leukemia, the school district said this week. Culver's will donate 10 percent of its sales on Wednesday, December 19, to Wilson's family.

The district said Wilson is currently undergoing treatment. A resident of Oswego, Wilson's two daughters have attended schools in the district since elementary school.

"The Homestead community has always been incredibly supportive when one of our own is in need, and we know you will once again rally and surround Julie and her family with support," the district wrote on Facebook.
