Fox Bend Golf Course Reopens With Strict Restrictions
Golfers are required to maintain social distancing and carry hand sanitizer.
OSWEGO, IL — As golf courses across Illinois go back in business, Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego will also re-open Friday, May 1, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Gov. JB Pritzker had announced that while the stay-at-home order has been extended till May 30, Illinois golf courses could re-open if they followed the restrictions imposed by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
Owned and operated by the Oswegoland Park District, the golf course will heed restrictions that include limiting play to twosomes, scheduling tee times 15 minutes apart, requiring the use of privately owned pull carts and keeping the clubhouse closed.
