Happy Father's Day To An Amazing Husband & Father

OSWEGO, IL — For Father's Day, Patch is letting readers honor their dads with photos and tributes. The following message is from the Wallace family of Oswego.

I love my daddy. I miss him because he works. I like his garbage truck and when he honks the horn. He drives in circles and he smashes the garbage. I like to call him during the day just to hear his voice and the sirens in the background. When my daddy comes home I scream so loud with excitement and run to the door to open it and maybe even meet him outside! I love fishing with daddy, he has so much great stuff to get into. I run around saying "dahdee iching" because my daddy loves fishing and so do I! I love my daddy so much and am beyond happy when he is finally home with me. My husband has been single handedly raising his first born son and is now an incredible father to both boys. A USMC Veteran, hard working, dedicated, funny, handsome... we're so lucky to call him ours. Happy Father's day to an amazing husband and father.
