Head On Crash in Oswego Sends Two To Hospital

The drivers of the two cars involved were transported to the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening

Just before 5 p.m., a Chevy Malibu driven by 67-year-old Aurora man crashed head-on into another vehicle, according to police spokeswoman Cathy Nevara. The man was driving northbound on Orchard Road near Tuscany Trail when his vehicle crossed center line and caused an offset head-on crash with a Ford Fusion heading southbound. That vehicle was driven by a 49-year-old woman from Oswego. The damage to the left side of each vehicle required first responders extract the victims. Both drivers were transported to the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening. The road was closed for about 30 minutes.
