Juveniles Cut Down American Flags, Threatened Resident With Knives In Boulder Hill: Sheriff's Department

The suspects threatened to cut a resident and his family, according to the Sheriff's Department

On Saturday around 4 p.m., three male juveniles cut down American flags and ribbons off of trees on Long Beach Road in Boulder Hill, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Department. A resident confronted the suspects, telling them to stop and pick up the flags and ribbons. They pulled out knives and threatened to cut the resident and his family, according to the Sheriff's Department. They reportedly made additional threats before fleeing on foot. The Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
