Kendall Co. Health Department Is Giving Job Training Scholarships
The deadline to apply is April 16.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Health Department will be awarding occupational training scholarships to Kendall and Grundy County residents who attend accredited Illinois schools.
Kendall-Grundy Community Action Scholarship must be income eligible and pursue occupational training of two years or less. Applications are available through high school guidance counselors, the Kendall-Grundy Community Actions Service office at 1802 N. Division St. in Morris or the Kendall County Health Department at 811. W. John Street in Yorkville.
"Applications will be evaluated on the basis of financial eligibility, scholarship potential, commitment to civic affairs, career goals and personal interviews," the health department said in a news release.

To be eligible applicants must meet the following brackets of household size and annual income:
- 1 person: $25,760
- 2 people: $34,840
- 3 people: $43,900
- 4 people: $53,000
- 5 people: $62,080
