Letter To The Editor: Heather Moyer Endorsement For District 308 School Board

The following was provided by Erika Sieh:

"I met Heather Moyer several years ago through our local moms group. Over the years she has served in several leadership positions within the group and has done so with grace and compassion. Her background in social work allows her to see issues from a point of view many of us do not have. Every time she has impressed me with her willingness to fully understand any issue before making a decision.

Working in an industry directly impacted by the lack of state funding puts Heather in a unique position to help our school board work through the funding issues we face while doing all she can for the students of District 308.

As a parent of a special needs child, I am very concerned about any potential cuts to the services my child receives. Heather has shown herself to be responsive to our most vulnerable students. She will work hard to protect our kids while balancing fiscal responsibilities to all residents.

On April 4, please join me in supporting Heather Moyer for District 308 School Board.
