Local Community Robotics Team Heading to State Competition

On Saturday February 1st, thirty-six teams from the Fox Valley and Rockford FIRST FTC Robotics Divisions competed for qualifying spots to the Illinois State Competition.

For the second year in a row, Turbo Charged 14615 won the FIRST robotics Crystal Lake Qualifier as Captain of the Winning Alliance team. They also won the Controls Award for their robots programming and second place Collins Aerospace award for their robot’s design and reliability.

The team will compete on Saturday Feb 22nd at the Illinois State Competition at Elgin Community College for a spot to the World Competition in April.
