More New Coronavirus Cases In Oswego's Nursing Home
Bickford of Oswego Assisted Living and Memory Care reported 16 new coronavirus cases and three deaths over the past two weeks.
OSWEGO, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in a long-term care facility in Oswego has continued to rise in the recent weeks, according to public health data.
Bickford of Oswego Assisted Living and Memory Care, 3712 Grove Road, has recorded 43 cases of the virus over the past month with three deaths according to the Illinois Department of Public Health. The nursing home's website also lists 13 active COVID-19 cases at the facility and 48 total cases as of Wednesday.
Bickford of Oswego's outbreak is the county's second-largest in a long-term care facility since the beginning of the pandemic in March. During the spring and summer, Symphony at the Tillers of Oswego recorded 50 cases and nine deaths.
