New Assistant Principal Announced For Plank Junior High
Kathleen Jones will begin her role as assistant principal July 1. She most recently taught third grade students at Westchester Intermediate.
OSWEGO, IL — Plank Junior High School is getting a new assistant principal, Kathleen Jones, who will be starting July 1. The Oswego Community Unit School District 308 Board of Education announced the new assistant principal June 8.
“As the newest assistant principal at Plank Jr. High, I am looking forward to working with the students, the families and the staff," Jones said in a news release. "I can't wait to use my passion for education and leadership to continue the great learning happening at Plank Jr. High."
Jones most recently taught third grade students at Westchester Intermediate School and began her career as a paraprofessional for the Special Education Summer School program in Orland Park. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education and history from Monmouth College and her master's in education and administration from DePaul University.
