No Injuries in Oswego House Fire

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

OSWEGO, IL — A house fire broke out Wednesday morning in the 600 block of Briarwood Lane.

The Oswego Fire Protection District received a call at around 9:15 a.m. for the blaze. Upon arrival, crews reported a working fire. Firefighters made an aggressive interior attack and the fire was contained to the kitchen. However, smoke damage occurred throughout the home.

The fire was extinguished at around 9:31 a.m. with no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
