One Saved In Oswego Water Rescue
Authorities performed a Saturday morning water rescue along the Fox River near Boulder Hill.
OSWEGO, IL—The Oswego Fire Protection District, with assistance from both the Sugar Grove and Naperville fire departments, located an individual during a water rescue along the Fox River near Boulder Hill. Authorities said crews responded at approximately 10:30 a.m. Saturday to the area of Route 25 and Boulder Hill Pass. On scene, fire personnel found an individual calling for help.
During the rescue, crews used one rescue swimmer to bring the individual to an island for pick-up by a fire district boat.
The individual reported non-life threatening injuries to authorities. He was treated and transported by Oswego medics to a local hospital, officials said.
