Oswego Candidate Night on February 6

Oswegoans running for office will introduce themselves and answer the public's questions

The Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce will host a “Candidate Night” on February 6, 2017 for those seeking elected office in the upcoming consolidated election. The event will be held at Oswego Village Hall, at 100 Parkers Mill, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. for sign-in.

Each candidate will have an opportunity to introduce themselves. Candidates are encouraged to state one or two primary concerns/issues on which they are running. Introductions will be limited to two minutes, and will be timed. After all candidates have introduced themselves we will conduct a question and answer segment. Candidates that are uncontested will not participate in the question and answer segment.

Interested candidates should complete the Candidate Information Form return it to the chamber of commerce at 73 W Van Buren St. no later than Wednesday, February 2, 2017, at 3:30 p.m.
