Oswego H.S. Grad Becomes A Sheriff's Deputy

He is a third generation law enforcement officer

The following was provided by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office: "On March 31, 2017, Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputy Lee Cooper graduated from the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy, located at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. Deputy Cooper attended the 12 week, 480 hour basic police academy. The next step in the training process for Deputy Cooper will be to complete the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office field training program. Deputy Cooper will be paired with an experienced Field Training Officer and will undergo a rigorous 12 week field training program, designed to put the knowledge acquired in the academy into practical use. Deputy Cooper is a graduate of Oswego High School. Deputy Cooper is a third generation law enforcement officer following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, both retired law enforcement officers."
