Oswego Man Bites Off Portion of Roommate's Ear During Fight

OSWEGO, IL — A Mike Tyson-wannabe allegedly bit off a portion of his roommates left ear during a fight.

Deputies with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 2100 Building on Light Road for a report of a domestic battery early Thursday morning. During the investigation, deputies found a fight occurred between Ryan W. Cleary, 26, of the 2100 block of Light Road, and his roommate.

“During the fight, Ryan struck his roommate and bit off a portion of the roommate’s left ear,” police said.

Police also found that property belong to the tenant was damaged during the incident, but no charges were pursued for that incident.

The victim was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for treatment.

Charges for the fight are currently pending against Cleary.
