Oswego Police Blotter Nov. 6 -13

Arrest reports include prostitution charges and a teenager charged with disorderly conduct.

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego police reports this week include two charges of prostitution, a run-in with a deer during high mating season and mysterious tire punctures. Information was taken from Oswego Police reports. Charges are merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in the court of law.

A 34-year-old man from Sandwhich was the victim of a hit and run Nov. 6. Records show the accident happened at 2820 Rt. 34 near Pearces Ford Road. An estimated $1,500 worth of damage was done to the man's car.

Fillistine Johnson, 29, of Hagaman Lane in Montgomery, was arrested Nov. 6 while driving on the 4300 block of Route 71 for driving with a suspended license and speeding. She was detained on the scene, police say.

23-year-old Alaa W. Barbarawi of Linden Drive in Oswego was charged with driving with a suspended license near Route 34 and Route 71 Nov. 6.

A crash with a deer did damage to an SUV Nov. 7. The accident occurred near the cross streets of Route 34 and O'Brien Way around 8:30 p.m.

Jose G Valles-Tavizon, 30, of Chicago, was charged with driving while suspended and speeding Nov. 7, police say.

Police are investigating a stolen vehicle incident that occurred Nov. 7 between 8 a.m. and noon. The incident took place in the 200 block of Monroe Street. A 63-year-old Montgomery woman reported it to cops the following day. The car was found undamaged and although police have suspects in mind, they are still looking for information.

Two separate investigations in Oswego "spas" led to prostitution charges for FengJu Li, 46, and Xiuhua Liao, 52. Police and Kendall County Sheriff made the arrests.

Nov. 8, two juveniles were driving west on Plainfield Road when they thought another car, also headed in the same direction, had turned onto Route 71. The other driver did not, however, and the young driver of a sedan struck the SUV's rear bumper, causing damage to both vehicles.

An unnamed 15-year-old girl was arrested the afternoon of Nov. 7 at the 4000 block of Route 71. She was charged with disorderly conduct, according to a police report.

The afternoon of Nov. 9. Darryl Williams, 47, of Oswego, was arrested on an in state warrant.

Two juveniles were driving separate cars west on Wolf's Crossing the afternoon of Nov. 9. The one driving an SUV stopped in traffic and the driver of the sedan didn't notice that stop and struck the SUV's rear bumper, causing damage to both vehicles. No injuries, cops say.

Police investigated a Nov. 10 nighttime accident at 5th Street and Route 30. Karina L. Nava-Rios, 23, of 5th Street in Aurora, was charged with failure to yield and failure to reduce speed.

Parish A. Riley, 25, of Plano, was found with three outstanding warrants at a traffic stop, according to police reports. Riley used a different name to avoid being arrested. He was arrested at 12 a.m. Nov. 12 and charged with obstructing identification, two warrants for driving with a suspended license (one in Kendall County, another in DuPage county), and another warrant for aggravated discharge of a firearm out of DeKalb County.

James. E. Brown, 24, of California Avenue in Aurora, was charged Nov. 11 with a warrant out of Aurora for driving with a suspended license, police say.

A Barrington man reported a damaged vehicle to cops the morning of Nov. 13. Two tires were punctured at the 200 block of Ashroft Lane near Woodland Way.
