Oswego Police Launches Seat Belt Crackdown
The special enforcement will be from Nov. 18 - Dec. 1.

IDOT is partnering with Illinois State Police and nearly 250 local law enforcement agencies to crack down on seat belt law violators now through Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 18 – Dec. 1).
More than 700 safety belt enforcement zones will be conducted across Illinois during this high visibility enforcement campaign period. More than half of the enforcement zones will be conducted during night time hours, when seat belt use is typically at it’s lowest.
The Oswego Police Department and other local law enforcement will be participating in the crackdown.
