Oswego Women Caught In 'Spa' Prostitution Sting

Two workers from N Spa were taken into custody Wednesday afternoon.

OSWEGO, IL — An Oswego spa worker was arrested for prostitution Wednesday at her massage studio, N Spa. Her co-worker was also taken into custody. Yiling Peng, 55, whose last known address is on the same block as N Spa, was charged with prostitution and unlicensed massage. Yune Zho, 50, of S. Melody Court in Chicago, was charged with aiding and abetting an unlicensed massage. All charges are class A misdemeanors. N Spa is located at 4546 Route 71, according to a press release from the Oswego Police Department.

The women were arrested Wednesday at their place of business after a long-term investigation by Oswego Police. Officers suspected they were using the massage business for possible licensing violations and alleged prostitution. They were taken into custody around two in the afternoon and were released after they each posted a bond of $1,500 with 10 percent to apply. Their pending court date is Nov. 22.

In addition to the misdemeanor charges, the Village of Oswego issued an ordinance ticket to the business for a building occupancy code violation. The business registration is suspended until the violation is resolved. Charges are just accusations and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
