Plainfield Woman Crashes Into Oswego Pond
Police say the woman lost control of her vehicle early Saturday morning before winding up in the pond.
OSWEGO, IL — Police in Oswego say officers responded to a crash early Saturday morning after a Plainfield woman drove her vehicle into a pond on Fifth Street near Kensington Drive.
Police say the 69-year-old woman lost control of her car around 2:57 a.m. before driving down an embankment and into the pond. She was able to get out of the car before it sank and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say she wasn't charged with any violations.
