Rain Prompts Parking, Traffic Changes For Wine On The Fox
A new designated Uber/Lyft rideshare drop-off area will be available during Wine on the Fox 2019.
OSWEGO, IL — The village of Oswego has announced changes to parking and traffic advisories for Wine on the Fox. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 4 and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. May 5 at Village Square Park, right next to Oswego Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill.
Officials said the event is expected to bring in heavier-than-usual traffic to downtown Oswego.
The rainfall in recent days has led the village to change parking for this event. As such, free parking will be available at two locations:

- On the grassy property west of Oswego Village Hall
- On the gravel at the former Alexander Lumberyard, 59 S. Adams St.
Volunteers and members of the Oswego Police Department will be assisting with parking instructions and traffic control. Officials encourage the public to avoid Washington Street at the intersection of Route 31 and Route 34.
Also, during the event, there will be a new Uber/Lyft rideshare drop-off area along Washington Street west of Route 31.
