Robotics Team Turbo Charged takes home the Win at CRI

Turbo Charged Team 14615 won the summer Chicago Robotics Invitational at the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago over the weekend.

On the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the moon, Turbo Charged competed in a space themed FIRST Robotics Rover Ruckus competition.

Twenty-four teams from seven states and one team from Romania competed for the title.

After playing 8 qualification matches Turbo Charged was ranked #2 going into the semi-finals and finals, they played the top ranked #1 team in the finals and won the event with the score of 869 – 810.

Congratulations Team Turbo Charged on the Win and a great season.

Come see the team and robots on July 27th at the Oswego Beats and Eats event from 2-8 pm in downtown Oswego. The team will have robot demos and their Star Wars themed robot will make its first public appearance.
