Route 31 Improvements Planned For Oswego, Montgomery
A project, under the authority of the Illinois Department of Transportation, will provide bridge repairs and pavement improvements.

OSWEGO, IL -- Illinois Department of Transportation officials say bridge repairs and pavement improvements on Route 31, between Caterpillar Drive and Frontage Road, are expected to begin May 1.
The traffic in the area in question will be reduced to one lane in each direction. The project requires a shift to the southbound lanes before switching to northbound lanes during the second phase of work.
An October completion date is targeted for the improvements.
