Senator Bertino-Tarrant Holding Town Hall Meeting in Oswego

She will be discussing updates on pensions and the progress of concealed carry.

Senator Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant (D-Shorewood) will be holding her third town hall meeting to address the critical issues facing our state on Thursday, November 21, 2013.  

The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.  at the Oswego Public Works Facility, 100 Theodore Dr.

Town hall meetings give members of the community an opportunity to meet with Senator Bertino-Tarrant face-to-face to discuss pending legislation, state government issues and community concerns.

“In order to do my best in representing the people of our district, I need to know how they feel and where they stand on the issues,” Bertino-Tarrant said. “This meeting will provide an opportunity for this level of communication.”

Senator Bertino-Tarrant will be joined by an expert who can give candid updates on pensions.  She will also be addressing the progress of concealed carry implementation in Illinois.

“If members of the community are willing to take time out of their day to attend a town hall meeting, I want it to be as informative and worthwhile as possible,” Bertino-Tarrant continued.

The town hall meeting is open to the public.  Senator Bertino-Tarrant encourages anyone with questions or concerns to come join her for a candid conversation about state and local government issues.
