Firefighters extracted the driver from the damaged car

On Tuesday evening, the Oswego Fire Protection District was dispatched to a vehicle accident on Plainfield Road near Andover Drive, according to a district press release.

Firefighters found a heavily damaged vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole. There were two people in the vehicle. The driver had to be extracted from the vehicle, a process which took ten minutes.

Both patients were transported to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora.

Kendall County Now reports that the driver was 18-year-old Bailey A. Porter of Bristol, and the passenger was a 15-year-old, also from Bristol.
