Snow Forecast for First Sunday of Spring. Yes, Really
And freezing rain. But don't let that ruin your weekend. Here's the forecast to help you plan.

Spring arrives at 5:45 p.m. tonight — and with the first weekend of spring comes a Sunday snow and freezing rain forecast.
Well isn’t that just like Chicago? The National Weather Service forecast:
Expect dry conditions with clearing skies and highs in the mid 50s. Southwest winds should be strong enough to prevent a lake breeze. Saturday will be dry but turning cooler behind a cold front, with temperatures well away from the lake peaking in the low 50s to near 60. North to northeast winds behind the cold front and a lake breeze will return with temperatures in the mid-30s to mid-40s in the morning near the lake ... and in the afternoon for many other locations.
