Survey Results Boost Chance Of Metra In Kendall: Village Pres.

Nearly a fifth of respondents said they are regular Metra users, and an Oswego official said this fact makes Metra access more likely.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The results of a recent survey will boost the chances of Metra access expanding into Kendall County, Oswego Village President Gail Johnson said, according to a report. The survey, intended to measure how heavily residents use the railway, shows a small increase in recent years.

ETC Institute, based in Kansas, found that 19 percent of respondents said they were regular Metra users, up from 18 percent in 2016. These results will be "one of the many facts that brings Metra to Kendall County," Johnson said, according to the Kendall County Now report.

That number shows a higher percentage of regular users than other areas which already have Metra access, Johnson said.
