Two From Oswego Arrested After Fight in Naperville Bar

Police had to call in three other agencies to control the 100-person crowd

Around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Naperville police responded to Bar Louie at East Chicago Avenue, according to a department press release. They found a large crowd of about 100 people and had to call in officers from Aurora, Lisle, and the DuPage County Sheriff's Office to disperse the group.

Officers found that Timothy Caldwell, 30, of Aurora, did not pay his bar bill, argued with a Bar Louie employee and battered a bouncer. Caldwell was charged with retail theft, battery, and criminal trespass to property.

While the crowd was dispersing, Kevin R. Bryant, 38, from Oswego, refused to leave and was arrested. Bryant was charged with aggravated resisting a peace officer, which is a felony, two counts of battery, and criminal trespass to property.

Following that arrest, Tawana L. Hosey, a 32-year-old from Oswego, threw a beer bottle and injured a Naperville police officer. She was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, which is a felony, and resisting a peace officer.

A Naperville Police sergeant and officer received medical care for non-life threatening injuries that sustained in the incident.
