Revolution Global aims to open the dispensary — named Enlightened — in the building that previously housed Luna Flooring Gallery.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — One of Illinois' leading cannabis companies is one step closer to opening an adult-use cannabis dispensary in Schaumburg after the Schaumburg Village Board approved the dispensary Tuesday night by a vote of 5 to 1. Revolution Global aims to open the dispensary — named Enlightened — in the building that previously housed Luna Flooring Gallery at 820 E. Golf Road by the end of the year, pending state licensure and the approval of local building permits, according to a news release sent to Patch.
Enlightened in Schaumburg will be Revolution's first adult-use dispensary in the state, with more Enlightened dispensaries planned for spots across Illinois, the news release said.
Revolution expects the dispensary to crate between 40 and 50 jobs with benefits included, according to the news release.
