Community Invited To Clean Up Palatine During 'Trashy Tuesday'
A Palatine neighbor invites community members to take part in a trash clean up she's hosting Dec. 1.
PALATINE, IL — A Palatine neighbor invites community members to take part in a trash clean up she's hosting Tuesday as part of what she calls Trashy Tuesday. Shelby K invites everyone to help clean up the community "any time, anywhere" Tuesday, and encourages all participants to "Dress warm, dress fun, have a good time, educate yourself, get outdoors and help us clean up our communities together on Trashy Tuesday!"
According to details Shelby K. shared with Patch, the solo or household group trash pick up should abide by current health regulations amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"Always remember to be safe, wear gloves, be mindful, never pick up dangerous or sharp objects, use your best judgement, educate yourself on recycling and sustainability and have a great time in the great outdoors!," Shelby K. wrote.
