Coronavirus In Palatine April 27: 2 Deaths, 152 Current Cases

Palatine's numbers are reported by Suburban Cook County Health Department's COVID-19 surveillance data and the Cook County Medical Examiner.

PALATINE, IL — Palatine has 152 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus and two deaths reported in its village limits as of Monday, according to county health officials. Among the areas hardest hit in suburban Cook County are Des Plaines, where there are currently 634 confirmed cases and 29 deaths; Niles, which currently has 260 cases and 25 deaths; and Glenview, where 254 people currently have the coronavirus and 21 have died, according to the Suburban Cook County Health Department's COVID-19 surveillance data website and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office website.

Throughout suburban Cook County, there have been more than 12,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 1,420 deaths.

Throughout the state, 45,883 have tested positive for the new coronavirus and 1,983 have died, state officials announced Monday afternoon, in addition to 1,980 new coronavirus cases and 50 more deaths reported in Illinois.
