Friends of the Palatine Library Host Used Book Sale

From Palatine Library: The Friends of the Palatine Library will hold a Used Book Sale, Friday, June 16 through Sunday, June 18. The selection of materials includes books, several hundred DVDs, and CDs donated by the community and available at a deep discount. A large number of laser discs are also available at this sale.

The used book sales are always a popular event at Palatine Library. Be sure and come early to check out the great selection and pricing that the sale offers.

Sale hours:

• Friday, June 16, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Friends members-no charge, Non-members $5
• Saturday, June 17, 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Free admission
• Sunday, June 18, 12:30 – 3:00 p.m., Free admission, Half-price day!

All proceeds from the fundraiser benefit Palatine Public Library District. The Friends of the Palatine Library recently donated funds to purchase the new Library delivery van. They also fund the Summer and Winter Reading Programs and numerous other projects. Membership forms to join the Friends of Palatine Library are available in the lobby of the Main Library. Single or family membership is $10.00 per year.
