A Park Ridge man was arrested on sexual assault accusations after footage was caught on a woman's motion-activated indoor security cameras.

PALATINE, IL — A Park Ridge man has been arrested after a sexual assault involving a Mount Prospect woman was caught on security cameras inside her home, the Daily Herald reported, according to Cook County prosecutors. Jasmin Kovac, 20, is facing charges stemming from accusations he sexually assaulted the woman, who prosecutors claim he had an occasional sexual relationship with, the news source reported.
Prosecutors said Kovac was at the woman's home on July 27, where according to Assistant Cook County State's Attorney Loukas Kalliantasis, they got into an argument, and the woman told Kovac to leave, the Daily Herald reported. Kovac is accused of then assaulting her several times. According to Kalliantasis, Kovac is also accused of sexually assaulting the woman at her home on Aug. 9, the day before she contacted police, the news report added.
On Wednesday, a Cook County judge set Kovac's bail at $40,000 Wednesday, and he'll have to submit to electronic monitoring and have no contact with the woman if he posts bond.
