Mac's On Slade Closed Over Liquor License Dispute
The bar's owners have not yet filed proper paperwork that could lift the village's liquor license suspension.

PALATINE, IL — The doors of Mac's on Slade are still closed, five days after owners said they would file the proper paperwork the village needed to lift its suspended liquor license.
The village suspended the license after it was disclosed that the bar's owner, Jam 5 Inc., had a stockholder whose name was not listed on earlier applications. Village ordinance requires full disclosure of partners and shareholders.
Jeff Van Horn, a co-owner, told the Daily Herald that the paperwork would be filed today. Village officials, however, say that won't guarantee a reopening. The owners will still need the local liquor commission's approval to sell alcohol again.
