Man Accused of Exposing Himself Twice to Gas Station Employee: Cops

Paul Rodriguez, of Carpentersville, was charged with public indecency for allegedly showing his genitals twice this month.

A Carpentersville man was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a gas station attendant twice this month, according to Palatine police.

Pedro Rodriguez, 36, of the 1800 block of Center Drive, was charged with two counts of public indecency Thursday in connection with two separate incidents at a gas station in the 800 block of Palatine Road, a Palatine police release stated. Rodriguez was released on bond, and his court date is Nov. 21.

At about 9:43 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, a gas station employee flagged down an officer on patrol after Rodriguez allegedly exposed his genitals to her, the release stated. The officer confronted Rodriguez before he was able to drive from the station and took him in to custody, the release added.

According to the employee, this was the second time this month Rodriguez had exposed himself to her, the release stated, adding that there was no known connection between the victim and offender.
