Palatine Resident is $450,000 Richer

Dong Han, of Palatine won $450,000 in the Lucky Day Lotto Drawing on April 14.

Han, whose age was not given, was at home when he checked his ticket using the Illinois Lottery mobile app. He asked his wife to double check the numbers and confirm it was a winner.

Han is married and has two children. He owns a clothing company and plans to use the money to pay bills and invest.

The winning numbers - – 08 – 12 - 15 - 26 - 45 – were picked randomly and sold to Han at Palatine Mobil, 7 North Northwest Highway in Palatine.

The retailer received a bonus of $4,500, 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling a winning ticket.
