Palatine Park District invites families to create “mini-floats” and partake in a We Love A Parade this February. Design, decorate, and build your float that will be showcased in a community-wide virtual parade. The virtual parade will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 10:00am. “Love” is the theme for the 2021 Virtual We Love A Parade event.

To participate and be featured in the parade video, decorate a "mini" float with a shoe box, tissue box, empty milk carton or whatever you can think of as long as it is no larger than a shoebox. Once the floats are all collected, we will put together a video of the event for everyone to watch. For anyone who has ever wanted to design and decorate your own parade float, here is your chance.

Register via the Palatine Park District website by Friday, January 22 at 12:00pm, and drop off your float at the Community Center, 250 E. Wood Street.
