Whether working on the front lines of an essential business, at home making masks, inspiring students via online classrooms, or providing food to those in need, we all owe a debt of gratitude to those who have gone above and beyond in service to our communities during the COVID crisis and Shaunna Burhop, of Baird & Warner Real Estate's Northwest Suburban office is finding a way to give back to them.

Like many business owners, serving our community has always been an essential part of Shaunna’s plan, but when she saw so many individuals step up, and in many instances risk their own lives to help others, she was inspired to another level. “These people are selfless at their core. They seem born with a unique ability to set their personal interests aside and help others. The public needs to hear their stories.”

Watching her own daughter, a nursing student at the University of Minnesota stay on campus to keep working at the hospital while most students returned home to finish the semester online, she was compelled to do more. “Like others I have seen, even behind her protective mask & face shield you can clearly see compassion in her eyes. She inspires me every day.”
