Reinberg Rocks! a success with local businesses

The Reinberg Rocks! concert for Party For The Preserves in Deer Grove East is a success with support from local businesses

The Reinberg Rocks! concert by Barb Sorensen for Party For The Preserves, which took place on September 29th in Deer Grove East Forest Preserve, was a success thanks to local Palatine businesses who supported the event. Special thank you to Palatinw Lawnmower & Snowblower repair on Colfax Avenue, Jewel Osco on Plum Grove Road, and Mariano's on Hicks Rd.

The concert was part of the celebration honoring 70,000 acres of public land for National Public Lands Day and over 300 people attended throughout the day.

The concert was also used to help draw attention via the marketing, to the recently re-opened newly renovated cabins and campsites at Camp Reinberg, and to celebrate Deer Grove being the first forest preserve in Cook County.

The day was grey , overcast and drizzly, and yet... over 300 people attended. It was a success!

Palatine Lawnmower and Snowblower Repair (407 W Colfax, Palatine, IL) supported the event early on as the first in line. "John understands how to reach his customers well and works diligently at giving them the best service and supporting the community in any way he can. He knows how important it is to give back to others and that by using concerts such as this, he can keep his business name at the forefront. " says singer/songwriter Barb Sorensen. He's also very creative and has participated in various other promo videos for the many concerts and events Emerald City Music Productions, Inc. produces. Jewel Osco on Plum Grove Rd and Mariano's of Palatine supplied the delicious props needed for the photo shoot for the marketing materials. Jars of jellies and jams, cheese, apple, watermelon, and bottled water. "I love that I got to be in the photo shoot and eat all this delicious food for the video and photos!" says Barb Sorensen. "For a grocery store to participate in the project is a big deal for them and us. We put the message out on print, online, cross-marketing with other events, local broadcast where permitted and interactively in the concerts with shoutouts, swag giveaways, and more. There's a lot of preplanning that goes into both sides. So that when their logos appear on the concert marketing materials, we and they know it's a sober and solid fit.
