Road Work Scheduled For Part Of Smith Street

PALATINE, IL — The Village of Palatine announced Monday that Smith Street from Palatine Road to Dundee Road will be resurfaced this year. According to officials, road work is scheduled to start the week of April 15 and is expected to be completed by late summer. Work also includes improvements and upgrades to sidewalk crossings, handicap ramps at the intersections, and the removal and replacement of curbs and gutters, according to the Village.

Smith Street will be accessible during the project, in addition to one lane of traffic in each direction, driveways and parking lots.
