Santa's Arrival, Fireworks This Friday In Deer Park
Deer Park Town Center will hold its annual event, which draws families from across the northwest suburbs.
DEER PARK, IL — Santa will make his grand arrival at Deer Park Town Center on Friday, Nov. 15. The fun begins at 6 p.m. with a special performance from Those Funny Little People before Santa makes his grand entrance on a Lake Zurich fire truck.
A tree lighting ceremony and fireworks show will follow.
Santa and the winner of the “Letters to Santa” contest will flip the switch and help light up Deer Park Town Center. When the lights come on, a fireworks show begins signaling the kickoff of the holiday season.

Deer Park Town Center has also planned to incorporate special red, white and blue fireworks to honor the nation’s veterans.
Families will be able to visit with Santa until 8:30 p.m. and personal cameras are welcome. Children who visit Santa will go home prepared for Santa’s arrival with a free pouch of magical reindeer food and reindeer antlers (while supplies last).

There will also be food trucks at this year's event, which is free.
