HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL — It's not every day the officers at a suburban police department find cows wandering through yards in town. But that is exactly what the Hoffman Estates Police Department came face to face with Monday after receiving a stray animal call. In a post on the police department's Facebook page, the department noted they were "udderly" surprised when they found the animals wandering in yards in the area of Shoe Factory Road and Berner Road.

"Our officers were able to live the life of a cowboy and roped both cows before finding their home off Berner Road where they were reunited with their owner," according to the Facebook post.
