Friends Book Sale Cancelled Again
For the second year in a row, the annual Friends of Peoria Public Library Book Sale has been cancelled due to the ongoing global pandemic.
For the second year in a row, the annual Friends of Peoria Public Library Book Sale has been cancelled due to the ongoing global pandemic.
The signature fundraiser of this volunteer-led nonprofit has been held for years and raises the majority of the funds that Friends uses to supplement the library's budget -- from crayons and crafts to renting out the entire Peoria Riverfront Museum for our annual Summer Reading celebration.

COVID has also caused the library to restrict book donations to Friends. Monetary donations, however, can still be made online via PayPal at www.peoriapubliclibrary.org or by mail at: Friends of Peoria Public Library
