Gunman Fires Shots At Galesburg Carnival
Police are patrolling the scene at Sunday's Railroad Days Carnival in Galesburg after shots were fired Saturday night during the event.
GALESBURG, IL — No arrests have been made after police say a gunman opened fire Saturday evening during the Railroad Days Carnival. WMBD reported officers say they were called to the scene just before 9:30 p.m., adding that the carnival was immediately shut down. No one was injured, police told WMBD.
A video from the carnival shows footage of two young men fighting before several gunshots rang out just seconds after.
WMBD reported officers say they planned to have regular patrols during Sunday's carnival.
