Parking Changes Ahead In Downtown Peoria

City of Peoria Public Works crews are reinstalling parking meters this week in the 200 block of NE Madison Avenue and 500 block of Hamilton Boulevard. The meters were removed throughout the remodeling of the Four Points by Sheraton.

Drivers should watch out while crews reinstall some 15 meters this week, beginning today, Tuesday, March 16. The coin operated machines should be back in place by Friday, March 19. At that time, parking enforcement will resume at assigned metered spots. In total, the parking enforcement team monitors and maintains 628 meters in the city of Peoria.
